Organization Unit form – Accounting tab
Completing this tab is optional. Applications can use this manager information to route an assignment, or address an email.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Reporting To | |
Org Units | Optional. Leave blank unless the organization unit reports to one or more
units. This value is automatically filled if you add a child organization unit in
the chart. Add units or modify their values to correctly portray their relationships
within a division. For example, a unit may report to two units within the same division. These values are used in the organization chart display only and not in rule processing. CAUTION: Use caution when deleting organization
units that have child units. Doing so makes them orphans, and they then do not
appear on the chart. Revise or remove the Reporting To
values to display their correct relationships.

Manager | Optional. Select the Operator ID of a user of this application who can receive assignments or email as a manager of this organization unit. |
Model User | Optional. To indicate that users associated with this organization unit are authenticated by an LDAP-based directory service, identify a single Operator ID data instance that services as a model or template for operators in this unit. See More about Organization Units. |
Cost Center | |
Number | Optional. Enter a text string that identifies this organization unit in an
enterprise accounting system. This code may be referenced in the single sign-on
interface defined through an Application ID data instance (
Data-Admin-AppID class), or in a router activity. This value
appears in the organization chart. If you use this property for single sign-on, choose Cost Center Number values that are unique to each organization unit, system-wide. |
Manager | Optional. Enter the Operator ID of a user who, as manager of the cost center, can receive assignments or email. This value appears in the organization chart. |
