Managing system queues
A system queue is a list of work to be done by an agent. You can view work items in the system queues by their status and take action on them using the System Queue Management landing page. This landing page is useful for diagnosing agent processing problems. For example, you can follow the life cycle of items when developing a new agent.
To view system queues, you must have the pzSystemOperationsObserver privilege and to take actions on queue items, you must also have the pzSystemOperationsAdministrator privilege.
You can take the following actions on a system queue:
- Requeue work items that have a status of broken.
- Remove work items from a queue.
- Defer work items that have a status of scheduled or immediate.
- View a work item's XML and error messages.
- Filter and sort work items.
