Configuring the authentication for data sources in SOAP integration
You can configure the authentication for one or all the data sources that are created from the operations that you select for your SOAP integration.
- Select Use a single Authentication Profile for all Data Sources to use the same authentication profile for all the data sources.

If you did not select the check box in the first step, configure the authentication for each data source by selecting an existing
authentication profile
for the corresponding operation.
If you selected the check box in the first step, specify or create a common authentication profile for all the data sources:
- Select Use Existing to choose an existing authentication profile and enter the profile name.

Select
Define New
to create a new authentication profile and
select a basic or NTLM authentication scheme:
- Basic authentication scheme : Enter the user name and specify a password by clicking Set Password. Enter the realm and host name. Enable preemptive authentication by selecting the check box if the external service requires preemptive authentication.
- NTLM authentication scheme : Enter the user name and specify a password by clicking Set Password. Enter the domain and host name.
- Click Submit to use the authentication profile or profiles for the data sources and continue with step 4 of Selecting operations for SOAP integration.
