User channel preview console
Before moving a Facebook or a WebChat chatbot to a production environment, you can verify whether the chatbot is working correctly by using the preview console. You can test system and custom responses based on commands or other input that you enter, against the intents and text analyzer rules that are associated with the Facebook or WebChat chatbot configuration. The preview console is only available in Pega Express.
In the preview console, you can:
- Configure questions.
- Configure the responses for the command or greeting message that is entered.
- Add a new response command for a generated intent if the intent does not have a command defined for it, yet.
- Turn on the Show analysis switch to display more details and configure the generated intents and associated responses for the chatbot.
- Click Clear all to remove all the conversation details from the preview console.
Note: You must purchase a separate license before using Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant for
Facebook in your application. You must also obtain and install the Facebook channel component
from Pega Exchange.
