Facebook channel content

You configure the content for a Facebook chatbot so that the right responses are displayed to the users based on their input in the Facebook Messenger chat window.

You can specify the following types of content:

  • A case to create - A case is created for an associated user command. You can select any case that is defined for the application.
  • An action to run - An action based on the associated command is run. The action must be one of the following types:
    • Cancel - Cancel current work in the chat session.
    • Custom - Display a menu that is similar to a Facebook generic template by using a data transform.
    • Link Account - Link to a specified Facebook account.
    • Menu - Display a menu with a list of available user actions.
    • Restart - Restart work on a case that is currently being processed in the session.
    • Text - Display a text message to the end user.
Note: You must purchase a separate license before using Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant in your application. You must also obtain and install the Facebook channel component from Pega Exchange.
