Configuring text analyzer definitions for the WebChat channel

The WebChat chatbot configuration for a Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant includes a text analyzer definition that is based on natural language processing (NLP) in which you can define categories. Defining categories in the WebChat configuration allows the chatbot to determine the best response based on user input.

To configure and test the validity of system and custom responses for a chatbot, use the preview console.

Note: You must purchase a separate license before using Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant for WebChat in your application.
  1. Open a WebChat channel interface.
  2. Click the Behavior tab.
  3. Configure WebChat text analyzer categories.
  4. Click Save.
