Customizing templates for product overview and gap analysis documents

Edit the default template file, pyNextGenDocTemplate.docx, in Word to change the look and feel of product overview product overview and gap analysis documents.

If you change a style in both the @baseclass.pyRTADocStyleHTML rule and the pyNextGenDocTemplate.docx template, the settings in the template override the style settings.
  1. In Designer Studio, search for pyNextGenDocTemplate.
  2. Click Download file to open the file in Microsoft Word.
  3. Make your changes to the template.
    Note: The application documents will automatically contain a table of contents. You do not need to add one to the template.
  4. Save the pyNextGenDocTemplate.docx file locally.
  5. In Designer Studio, click Upload file.
  6. Click Choose File and navigate to your customized template file.
  7. Click Open.
  8. Click Upload file.
  9. Create an application document to test your changes.
