Reextracting libraries using the System Management application

You can use the System Management application to force the reextraction and recompilation of all functions in all libraries on all nodes. Because library rules are always available, this is a useful process for changing the availability of functions in a library, which requires recompilation before updates take effect.

To compile all libraries on the currently selected node, do the following steps:

  1. In the System Management application, click Administration > Rule Utility Library Extractor.
  2. With the Rule Set and Library Name fields blank, click Extract Libraries.
Note: All libraries on the other nodes in a cluster are compiled at the next system pulse.
