Configuring text analyzer definitions for the Facebook channel

The Facebook chatbot configuration for a Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant includes a text analyzer definition that is based on natural language processing (NLP) in which you can define categories. Defining categories in the Facebook configuration allows the chatbot to determine the best response based on user input.

The chatbot configuration for a Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant includes a list of text analyzer definitions. Text analyzer definitions are used for advanced text analysis to process user input and determine the best matching response. The definitions are based on natural language processing (NLP). You can define text analyzer categories and define advanced text analyzer configuration, if several text analyzer definitions are to be used.

Note: You must purchase a separate license before using Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant in your application. You must also obtain and install the Facebook channel component from Pega Exchange.

You can add, delete, or modify each text analyzer definition in the list.

  1. Open a Facebook channel interface.
  2. Click the Behavior tab.
  3. Configure text analyzer categories.
  4. Optional: Configure advanced text analyzer configuration.
  5. Click Save.
