Configuring an application for reuse

You can make your application available for reuse in the New Application wizard. By allowing users to build on your application, you can share resources, such as rules, case types, or data types.

  1. In the Designer Studio header, click Application name > Definition.
  2. On the Application wizard tab, select the Show this application in the New Application wizard check box.
  3. In the Short description field, press the Down Arrow key, and then select a field value that describes the name and purpose of your application.
  4. In the Application description field, press the Down Arrow key, and then select a field value that provides more information, so that help users can decide whether to reuse your application.
  5. In the New application access list, select the access group that users receive when they reuse your application.
  6. Optional: To distinguish your application from others in the New Application wizard, replace the default logo and preview images.
    1. In the Brand section, click Upload Image.
    2. Navigate to the file for your company or organization logo, and then click Upload Image.
    3. In the Desktop snapshot section, click Upload Image.
    4. Navigate to a screen capture that is at least 370 pixels by 233 pixels, and then click Upload Image.
    5. In the Mobile snapshot section, click Upload Image.
    6. Navigate to a screen capture that is at least 110 pixels by 194 pixels, and then click Upload Image.
  7. Click Save.
