Creating usage reports

In addition to the standard usage reports that are provided, you can create your own usage reports to generate statistics about the usage and performance of report definition reports in the current application.

  1. Open the Report Usage landing page from the Designer Studio menu by clicking Reporting > Report Usage.
  2. To create a report, click + Add Report. A new report definition rule form opens.
  3. Complete the report definition rule form, making sure to define the usage report in the Log-ReportStatistics class.

    When you save the report definition rule form, a report shortcut is added to the list of usage reports on the Report Usage landing page.
