Installing hotfix packages
After you have obtained the hotfix and prepared to install it, update your system with the new functionality.

Install the hotfixes.
- To install hotfixes interactively, see Installing hotfixes from the user interface.
- To install hotfixes from the command line by connecting to an active instance of Pega Platform, see Installing hotfixes by submitting a request to an active instance.
- To install hotfixes from the command line by connecting directly to the database, see Installing hotfixes by using a direct connection to the database.
- After you install the hotfixes, check the results as described in Verifying hotfix installation results.
- Commit or roll back the hotfix.
