Configuring a property security rule

Enter the privilege an operator needs in order to access the property secured by this rule. Operators who attempt to access the property in the Report Browser must have at least one of the privileges specified on the property security rule.

Before you begin: You must complete the following task before you can configure a setting: Creating a property security rule.
  1. Create a property security rule, or open an existing instance from the navigation panel by clicking Records > Security > Property Security and selecting an instance.
  2. Click the Add a privilege icon, and in the Privilege field, press the Down Arrow key and select a privilege.
    The applies-to class for the privilege must be valid for the applies-to class of the property security rule.
  3. Optional: Repeat step 2 to add more privileges.
  4. Click Save.
