You can build a form to capture user input in a case. By creating, configuring, and
organizing relevant fields, you can clearly communicate to users the task that they must perform
to process an assignment in a case.

In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Case types, and then click the
case type that you want to open.

Open the form editor, based on your context.

To create a new form:

On the Workflow tab, click Life
cycle.

Click an assignment or approval step that does not have a form associated with
it.

Click Configure view to open the form editor.

To update an existing form:

Click Views.

Click a form to open the form editor.

To save time and resources, perform any of the following steps:

Create new fields to add to your form, based on the type of information that you are
collecting.
You can create the following types of fields:

Change the presentation of fields, based on the way that users interact with the fields
at run time.
The following fields support more than one presentation:

Add
validation to the form to restrict the values that users can provide.
