application ruleset

An application ruleset is a collection of rules that identify the components of an application. You must be a member of a specified access group to work with an application ruleset.

The set of application rulesets determines which rules are reflected in various tools in Dev Studio, such as the Application Explorer, the Profile Explorer, and the Guardrails tool.
