Optimizing the table code

Optimize the code of a table to improve the client-side performance and enable customization of a toolbar for that table.

Note: When you optimize the table code some of the table configuration options are disabled, for example, Report Definition as a data source or Use custom category template. Because the availability of options also depends on other factors, such as the context in which the table is placed and other options that you select, see the Layout properties window to verify which options are available.
  1. In the Section form, click the table that you want to optimize, and then click the View properties icon.
  2. In the Layout properties window, for the Optimize code parameter, select the Allow check box.
  3. Click Submit.
