System settings in Admin Studio

To verify the system settings for a node or cluster, to diagnose configuration issues across the cluster, and to download the prconfig.xml configuration file, use the Admin Studio System settings page.

Use Dev Studio to modify configuration settings.

To access the System settings page, view the list of settings, and download the prconfig.xml file, you must have the PegaRULES:SysOpsObserver role.

The System settings page displays system settings from the following sources:

  • Database

  • prconfig.xml file

  • JVM command line arguments. For more information, see the Pega Community article JVM configuration best practices.

  • JNDI

  • Engine API (Transient)
