Viewing and modifying schema information

Use Pega Platform tools to view and modify database schema information so that your application can respond to changing circumstances.

Viewing platform generated schema changes
The schema for the Pega Platform database can grow and evolve through a variety of tools and automatic changes. Automatic changes are possible only if the primary account or the administrative account on the Database data instance that defines the connection to the Pega Platform database has the ALTER TABLE and CREATE TABLE capabilities.
Viewing database schema information
You can view database schema information for tables, columns, views, and indexes. When any of these elements are clicked in the display, relevant information about that element is displayed on the right side of the landing page, along with appropriate actions for updating the element in the database.
