Installing the Dialogflow component

Analyze text and extract entities through the Dialogflow text analyzer component that integrates Dialogflow's natural language processing with Pega Email Bot and Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) for Web Chatbot. Install the component separately in your Pega Platform application.
Before you begin: Set up an Email or Web Chatbot channel interface to act as an Email Bot or an IVA.
  1. Add the Dialogflow component from Pega Marketplace.
  2. Create a Dialogflow agent.
    A Dialogflow agent contains intents and entity definitions and provides artificial intelligence for the text analyzer. For more information, see Creating a Dialogflow agent.
  3. Configure the Dialogflow text analyzer for a channel.
    In the advanced text analyzer configuration for the Email or Web Chatbot channel, you use the client access token and the developer access token that you generated for the Dialogflow agent. For more information, see Configuring the Dialogflow text analyzer for a channel.
  4. Map Dialogflow intents and entities to a case type that is defined in your channel.
