Pega Mobile
You can develop Pega Platform mobile apps in a variety of ways depending on your need, objectives and experience.
The approach you take falls into the following mobile app categories:
- Model-driven web app in a mobile web browser - A generated Pega Platform application that is started on a mobile web browser such as Safari.
- Model-driven web app in a native wrapper - A generated Pega Platform application that is dedicated to run within the Pega Mobile Client or Pega Infinity Mobile Client. For more information, see Mobile app.
- Native app with HTML webviews - A custom third-party native application, extended by means of the Mashup SDK capability, that contains at least one screen in which a Pega Platform application (or its part) is embedded in a webview. For more information, see Mashup SDK.
- Platform specific native app - A custom third-party native application, extended by means of the Connect SDK library to access the Pega Platform data on its backend. For more information, see Connect SDK.
