System setting rules

Dynamic system settings, system data instances, and runtime application settings all allow you to configure your system in specific instances.

Dynamic system settings are used by all nodes that share that database.
System data instances are occurrences of your Pega Platform and specify the system name and security parameters.
Runtime application settings can differ based on a system's production level, and are further resolved at run time through rule resolution.
