Defining and applying an additional grid format
You can change the style of the recent items list by creating a custom grid format. If the existing grid formats do not meet your needs, for example, if you want a different font size, or to define a different border, create a custom grid format and apply it to the recent items list grid.
Before you can customize the style of the recent items list, complete the steps in Customizing the list of recent items in your application.

Create a custom grid format.

Open the appropriate skin. For information about how to determine which skin is in use, see Associating a skin with the user interface article on Pega Community.

Click the name of the application in the Dev Studio header.

Click Skin.

Click the Component styles tab, and click the name of the currently shown component.

In the Layouts area, click Trees & grids.

On the My formats tab of Trees & grids, click Add new style, and then enter the name of the grid format that you want to create.

Define the styles.

Click Submit, and then click Save.

Apply a new custom grid format to the recent items list grid.

Open your copy of the pxRecentGrid section.

In your section that displays the recent items list, click the Gear icon of the cell in the section to open the Cell Properties panel.

On the General tab, click the Open icon next to the section name to open your copy of pxRecent section.

In your copy of the pxRecent section, click the Gear icon in the Section include header of your copy of pxRecentGrid section to open the Layout Properties panel.

On the General tab, click the Open icon next to the section name to open your copy of pxRecentGrid section.

In the copy of pxRecentGrid section, click the Gear icon in the Table layout header to open the Layout Properties panel.

On the Presentation tab of the Layout Properties panel, click Other in the Style field, and then specify the custom grid format that you created.

Click Submit, and then click Save.
