BIX high-throughput data downloads

CSV outputs use high-throughput data downloads. High-throughput data downloads increase the speed of downloads up to 25 GBs of data per hour, improving Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) extract performance.

High-throughput data downloads apply only to the following BIX extracts. Extracts of the following type automatically use high-throughput data downloads:

  • Extract from BLOB-less class data
  • Extracts from an external Postgres database
  • Extracts to CSV format
When the high-throughput data download option is used, the following functionality is not available:
  • -c parameter option to include children classes
  • -x parameter option to include header and footer information in the output
  • Checksum in the manifest summary

To disable high throughput downloads, create a dynamic system setting with keystring bix/useHighThroughputDownloadForCSV and set value field to false.
