Testing scheduled reporting tasks

Verify whether your scheduled reporting tasks is completed correctly by performing a test run. For example, you can send the subscribers an immediate email to check whether a notification message is generated. Test runs do not impact the Last run and Status of last run columns of the report, because they do not register as regular report runs.
  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > Reporting > Scheduled Reports.
  2. In the Run immediately column for your report, click Run.
  3. In the Run immediately dialog box, confirm the run by clicking Submit.
Result: The system delivers the notification message to the subscriber.
