Turning on privilege inheritance for access roles

You can turn on privilege inheritance for access roles to simplify how you define privileges and access settings that are relevant in multiple classes.

1. In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > Org & Security > Tools > Security > Role Names.
2. Click an access role name and open for editing.
3. On the Role tab, select the Inherit privileges within class hierarchy check box.
4. Click Save.
