Use this term as a noun or as an adjective when referring to messages that you send by using electronic mail. Do not use this term as a substitute of email address.

  • As a countable noun: You can configure flows to send emails to work parties, including people outside your organization such as customers and vendors.
  • As an uncountable noun: You can contact us by email or fax.
  • As an adjective: Email approval is a method for requesting approval from a stakeholder that relies on an incoming email message.
