Declare Index form - Completing the Pages & Indexes tab

Updated on April 5, 2022

Identify the name and class of clipboard pages that, at run time, contain properties referenced in the Indexes tab, on any page other than the page that contains the Source Class properties. See How to Complete a Pages & Classes tab for basic instructions.

FieldDescription
Page Name Optional. Identify the name of the page.

Optionally, add a row with the keyword Top as the page name, to identify a top-level page. The Top keyword allows you to use the syntax Top.propertyref to identify properties on other tabs of this rule form.

Declare Index rules can apply to embedded pages that appear within top-level pages with various names. In such cases, you can use the keywords Top or Parent in the page name here.

ClassOptional. Select the class of that page.
