Specifying system-wide security parameters by using system data instances

Updated on April 5, 2022

Specify system-wide parameters, for example, the production level, to apply to all nodes in the system.

System data instances are occurrences of your Pega Platform system. They are instances of the data-admin-system rule. Your system can include more than one data-admin-system instance. However, only one is in current use. The data-admin-system instance in current use is identified by the Identification/SystemName value in the prconfig.xml file or in the dynamic dystem dettings.
