Creating a system security data instance

Updated on August 25, 2021

To use the Product Migration wizard or command-line tool to migrate a product from one system to another, create system security data instances on the source system.

To support a cluster, create one instance for each source node from which products can be exported.
  1. In the navigation panel, click App, and in the search field, enter Data-Admin-System-Security.
  2. Click Create.
  3. In The system granting access field, enter the host name of the source system.
  4. In The security role for the servlet field, enter the name of the security role that can access the DiagnosticData servlet in the source system.
The default security role is PegaDiagnosticUser.
  5. Click Create and open.
  6. Enter the User name and Password of the application server user in the source system who has the security role that you entered.
