Elasticsearch

Updated on July 8, 2022

Elasticsearch is a third-party search engine that ensures a quick way to find relevant information within applications by effectively analyzing huge volumes of data.

Pega Platform uses the Elasticsearch engine for full-text searches to retrieve specific data from the system such as rules, assignments, attachments, or data instances.

Elasticsearch rapidly retrieves search results thanks to an efficient indexing mechanism that makes the application data searchable in near real-time. This means that the system requires seconds to resolve a search query after you index the data.

For more information, see the official Elasticsearch website at http://www.elastic.co.
