Enabling periodic work recording

Updated on July 8, 2022

To recover from server or browser crashes, you can configure Pega Platform to periodically record work in progress. When configured in this way, the system saves metadata about the state of user interface interactions, tabs, and screens, and restores the UI state to the last persisted state after a crash.

  1. In Dev Studio, access the high availability landing page by clicking ConfigureSystemHigh AvailabilityHA Cluster Settings.
  2. To enable work recording for crash recovery, select the Enable server crash recovery on this cluster check box.
  3. Click Submit.
Result: The Pega-Engineprconfig/session/ha/crash/RecordWorkInProgress/default dynamic system setting is set to true.
  4. Restart the server for the new setting to take effect.
