Creating a Training Assignment

Use a training assignment to assign one or more missions to users for completion. Training assignments display on the assigned users' dashboard in Pega Academy.

Tip: Always create training assignments directly. Doing so helps ensure other training administrators in your organization can see and help manage training assignments specific to your organization.

To create a training assignment:

  1. From the left nav panel, click + Create > Training assignment.

  2. In the Training assignment name field, enter a name for the training assignment.

    Remember: Training assignment names must be unique and are limited to 64 characters.
  3. From the Create training assignment options, select Manually.

  4. Click Create. The Training Assignment Details page is displayed.

  5. In the MIssions section, click Add Missions.

  6. Select one or more missions to add to the training assignment, then click Submit. The selected missions are added to the training assignment.

  7. In the Assignments section, click Add Assignee(s).

  8. Search for users by name or email address, and then click Submit. The selected users are added to the training assignment.

Create a training assignment from a saved template

  1. From the left nav panel, click + Create > Training assignment.

  2. In the Training assignment name field, enter a name for the training assignment.

    Remember: Training assignment names must be unique and are limited to 64 characters.
  3. From the Create training assignment options, select From a saved template.

  4. Select a template from the list of available templates.

  5. Click Create. The Training Assignment Details landing page is displayed, and the Missions defined in the training template are displayed in the Missions section.
