Troubleshooting: Flow action pyWithdrawFromNav in local action confirms case withdrawal twice

Updated on October 2, 2015

You have used the flow action Work- pyWithdrawFromNav in a local action to withdraw the current case. You see the confirmation message twice, even though the case is already withdrawn: Are you sure you want to withdraw this case?

This unexpected behavior occurs when, in the Action tab of the flow action pyWithdrawFromNav, the option Look for an assignment to perform? is checked. This option should not be checked.

Suggested approach

To work around this problem, perform this local change:

  1. Copy (click Save As) the flow action Work- pyWithdrawFromNav to your rule set.
  2. In the Action tab, clear the check box Look for an assignment to perform?
  3. Run the flow again to verify that you do not see two confirmation messages for the withdrawn case.
