Verifying supporting decisions for Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor

Test each supporting decision before creating the next one using Postman to ensure that it is working.

  1. Open Postman.
  2. In the header of Postman, click New, and then in the Create New tab, click Request.
  3. In the list of methods, select POST and then, in the Enter request URL field, enter the following URL: http://server IP address:port address/prweb/PRRestService/PegaMKTContainer/V3/Container.
  4. On the Body tab, select the raw radio button.
  5. In the text pane, enter the request message for the supporting decision that you are testing:

  6. Click the Text drop-down list, and then select JSON.
  7. On the Authorization tab, provide authentication details:
    1. From the TYPE drop-down list, select Basic Auth.
    2. In the Username field, enter a valid operator for Pega Customer Decision Hub, for example, admin@cdhc.
    3. In the Password field, enter your password.
    4. Click Send.
    5. Review the output to ensure that the results are as expected.
Result: Your supporting decision is visible in the UI of the NBAA portal. For example, the Service preference area of the Shared needs assessment window contains your profile questions and you can select an answer.
