Keeping your Pega solution current has never been easier. Follow the instructions below to get the right documentation for your Pega Platform™ release in just a few clicks.
Pega Cloud® keeps you current
Pega software updates deliver Pega Platform and Pega application software changes that are backwards compatible and include the latest security updates, capabilities, feature enhancements, performance improvements, and supportability enhancements. Pega Cloud updates both Pega Platform and the Pega applications running in your subscription environment. 

For clients running 8.4.2 or later, Pega Cloud provides you with an upgraded, cloned environment for a two-week evaluation. Upon your approval, Pega Cloud works with you to complete the update of your production environment with near-zero-downtime and then across your Dev and Test environments.

Pega Cloud® keeps you current
Pega software updates deliver Pega Platform and Pega application software changes that are backwards compatible and include the latest security updates, capabilities, feature enhancements, performance improvements, and supportability enhancements. Pega Cloud updates both Pega Platform and the Pega applications running in your subscription environment. 

To update from your release, Pega Cloud provides you with an upgraded, cloned environment for a four-week testing and application enhancement period. When you are ready, Pega Cloud works with you to complete the update across all of your environments.

Between software updates, Pega Cloud proactively patches your environments during your maintenance window with zero downtime. Each patch includes important security, supportability, and reliability improvements. Patches also include fixes that are based on a wide range of client feedback.

To update your Pega Infinity software to the latest version, you push the latest Pega-provided Docker images to your preferred Docker repository, update your Helm charts, and run a helm command to complete the Pega software update. Client-managed cloud updates from Pega Infinity release 8.4.2 and later are supported using a zero-downtime process.
