Feature limitations in Cosmos React
While fully production-ready, Cosmos React is an expanding product that is best suited to early adopters. Consequently, the framework does not support some classic Pega Platform features. By understanding the feature set of the new framework, you can make better choices about your UI.
General limitations
Cosmos React does not support the following features in Pega Platform version 8.6:
- Localization
- Building an implementation layer on top of Pega CRM and other industry applications
- Web mashup
- Mobile solutions
- Offline mode
- User-configurable dashboards
- Push and subscribe notification channels
- Multichannel features, including email and chat integration
- Rule delegation
- Property-level attribute-based access control (ABAC)
- Reports and report browser
- Paragraph rules
- Custom action sets
- Building custom layouts or components
- Exporting tabular data to Excel
- Development branching
- Scenario testing
Case management limitations
Cosmos React does not support the following case management features in Pega Platform version 8.6:
- Duplicate case search
- Automations for generating PDFs and documents
- Actions for adjusting service-level agreements
- Field-level auditing
- Specifying attachment categories
- Geolocation tracking
- Tagging
- Stakeholders widget
- Related cases widget
- Team widget
- Work queue widget
Survey limitations
Cosmos React does not support the following questionnaire features in Pega Platform version 8.6:
- The following question types:
- Slider
- Checklist
- Multi textbox
- Build a list
- Radio button matrix
- Question text with rich text options, such as feeding a response to the next question, or dynamic values in information text
Collaboration limitations
Cosmos React does not support the following collaboration features in Pega Platform version 8.6:
- Private messaging in Pulse
- Documents
- Spaces
