Modifying the name and icon of a page

Applicable to Theme UI-Kit applications

Improve the navigation of your portal by giving user interface pages unique names and icons that correspond to the content of your portal.

  1. In the header of App Studio, click Preview application, and then enter the design mode by clicking Design.
  2. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Pages.
  3. In the Pages pane, hover over the page name that you want to change, and then click MorePage settings.
  4. In the Page name field, enter a new name of the page.
  5. Change the icon of the page by clicking Change, and then choose an icon.
    Pega Platform includes a set of default icon fonts. For information about adding custom font sets, see Icon fonts.
  6. Click Submit.
Result: If you added the page that you are modifying to the navigation menu of your portal, you can immediately see the results of your changes in the preview.
