- Create a section. See Sections - Completing the Create or Save As form.
- Include a control with custom actions within the section that you created. See Creating an action set.
- Optimize the table code. See Optimizing table code.
In the Section form, click the table, and then click the View properties icon.
In the Layout properties window, on the Presentation tab, select the Display custom actions in toolbar check box.
In the field below the check box, press the down arrow key, and then select the section with custom actions.

Configure the toolbar so that application users can interact with the table at run time, set a personalized view, and save it. The toolbar also presents a summary of the operations, for example, it indicates that columns are grouped by fields.
- Upgrade considerations
When you upgrade from a previous Pega Platform version you might need to adjust the design of some sections.
- Available actions and conditions
Choose an action from the list, see which options are available for the action and when you can use it. Learn which conditions you can apply.
