Specifying the data source for an Advanced data visualization control

Updated on April 5, 2022

To identify the data for a Advanced data visualization control, you specify a data page and the properties to display.

  1. Click the View properties icon to display the Properties panel for the control.

  2. On the General tab, in the Data page field, press the Down Arrow key to select the data page to use as the data source.

  3. The Inputs tab displays various fields that correspond to the properties of the visualization, depending on the type of visualization and the characteristics of the selected data page.

    • For any field, press the Down Arrow key to select the appropriate property, or enter the desired value.
    • For any field except List inputs, click the Switch to edit mode icon to change a field input type from Data page to User input.
