User Portals

Updated on September 10, 2021

This presentation is part of the Portals Overview Self-Study Course.

Transcript

All Portal layouts include a set of common elements, including a navigation panel on the left side.  In User Portals, the navigation panel displays a series of bars that group common functionality into workspaces.  Which bars are displayed to a user depends on the user’s Access Group.  We’ll cover this in the next unit.   Standard bars include:

  • Dashboard:  Primarily used to view the system-wide status of deployed PRPC applications.  It is also used to access development tools, such as accelerators and wizards; access your profile; and review company news.
  • Process Work Bar:  Used to search, select, and process work on your worklist; manage workbaskets; and transfer work among operators.
  • Monitor Activity Bar:  Used to monitor assignments and processes, analyze process quality, and analyze process performance.
