Using the Pega Cloud 1.0 VPN

Updated on July 15, 2016

Pega Cloud 1.0 provides VPN services as part of industry best practices for the security and privacy of your cloud-delivered solution. An IPsec VPN connection provides secure access for connecting your backend systems, connector integration services, and developer and end-user communities to the Pega Cloud-delivered solution.

While Pega Cloud and Pega platform software allow for HTTPS connections using port 443, it is strongly recommended that you use the VPN services for solutions that need system-to-system integration and data integration.

VPN services are required for the Pega 7 database schema access privilege.
