Ease into AI-driven, event-triggered engagement with Multi-Schedule Outbound (8.4)

Updated on May 3, 2021

Traditional marketers sometimes struggle with Pega’s outbound capabilities, because we use an AI-driven, event-based approach in which messages and offers are only triggered when the customer needs to see them.

To make the 1:1 transition easier for these clients, we’ve implemented Multi-Schedule Outbound, which provides the best of both worlds. In Pega Marketing in 8.4, users can now evaluate specific customer sets at specified intervals and create queues to support the need for multiple daily batch runs.

Users also now have direct support for establishing emergency runs, where all impacted customers can be contacted immediately. For example, when a natural disaster strikes, or there is a security breach.
