Add authentication services from the Application definition (8.6)

Updated on May 12, 2021

You can now find an Authentication section on the new Security tab, from which you can configure authentication services mapping in your application from the Application Definitionform. Previously, the Application Definition formhad an Integration and Security tab. Now, there are two separate tabs: Integration and Security. With the security functionality on its own tab, you can more effectively manage the security of your application with the expanded security functionality.

The Integration tab contains Content management,Content SourcingAgile workbench integration, and Service Packages sections.

The Security tab contains Application Security, Authentication, Content Security, Mashup Security, and Unified Messaging security sections.

The new Authentication section enables you to add existing authentication services to your application in from a single location.

To access the Application Definition form:

In the header of Dev Studio, click Application: [Name]  >Definition
