Debug your Cosmos React applications faster with Tracer (8.6)
Deliver Cosmos React applications that offer a smooth and bug-free experience for users by diagnosing your applications with Tracer. Because the Tracer tool is now available for stateless applications, developers who build on Cosmos React can now trace and troubleshoot their work early in the process. The Tracer for Cosmos React is available in Dev Studio and Admin Studio, and also in App Studio, so that even citizen developers can trace their applications and speed up application development through continuous testing and debugging.
In stateless applications, every request is independent and multiple requests can be active in a browser session simultaneously. For Cosmos React applications, requests represent events and interactions between DX APIs in your application and a browser. For greater clarity, Tracer groups the events by request ID so that you can easily find the information that you need, as in the following example:
For example, if an issue with the correct processing of a case attachment occurs, you can quickly find relevant information in Tracer under the GetCaseAttachment DX API request.
To facilitate debugging, you can click a request header to view a request path. You can also find relevant events faster by copying the request path from a browser session, and then searching for the path in Tracer.
Additionally, the offline version of Tracer now includes DX API interaction and path information, so that debugging Cosmos React applications is also available in offline mode.
