Search for Pulse messages in spaces (8.5)

Updated on May 3, 2021

To more quickly find the information that you need, you can now search for Pulse messages in spaces. To receive more accurate results, you can apply different filters, such as keywords, post authors, or a time range in which the messages were posted. For example, you can filter for messages that contain the keyword Loan request that users added in the first week of June, as in the following example:

The results return both posts and comments. When a result is a comment, Pulse displays the complete message thread, to provide context. The search results also include attachments, when either a file name or contents match the filter that you apply. To ensure that you can find all the relevant information, the results also include messages that users posted in the space using any previous version of Pega Platform™.

Searching for Pulse messages saves time and facilitates work by just typing a keyword or selecting a post author, instead of manually scrolling through a Pulse feed to find the relevant information.
