Stay current with seamless upgrades to Pega Infinity (8.5)

Updated on May 3, 2021

This content applies only to Pega Cloud environments

When you use Pega Infinity™ as a service delivered in Pega Cloud® environments, you focus on developing your Pega applications for your customers while Pega Cloud Services handles the resiliency, scalability, and the Pega-managed security of your Pega applications. Take advantage of the latest improvements and services, including:

  • Continuous improvements to the upgrades process, with which Pega Cloud Services now delivers 15-day, backwards-compatible upgrades of your production environments to Pega Infinity 8.5.x. When Pega Cloud Services upgrades Pega Infinity 8.4.2 to 8.5.1, the upgrade process now includes a client-facing, go/no-go self-service upgrade with near-zero-downtime stage prior to the upgrade of your production environment. To start your upgrade journey, see Keeping current with Pega Infinity.
  • Enhanced restarts which now allow users - both clients and their customers - to access and use their applications in the client's Pega Cloud environments with minimal disruption. For details, see Restarts in Pega Cloud environments.
  • Expansion of our global footprint with support for the AWS Milan region. For the complete list of currently supported regions, see Deployment regions for Pega Cloud Services.
