Upgrade or patch your deployments of Pega Infinity (8.6)

Updated on September 29, 2021

This content applies only to On-premises and Client-managed cloud environments

When you deploy Pega Infinity™ in your Kubernetes-based cloud environments, you control the infrastructure running your Pega applications yourself by using the cloud-native software architecture of Pega Infinity that can scale up or down to suit your application processing needs. The continuous improvements that Pega makes to its Helm-based deployment process empower you to:

  • Upgrade to Pega Infinity 8.6 or apply a Pega Platform patch to your deployment in zero downtime.
  • Take advantage of an optimized 'Search and Reporting Service' that runs on independently-provisioned nodes within your deployment namespace. With this new service, you can integrate the latest generation of search and reporting capabilities such as Elasticsearch version 7.1.x into your Pega application while optimizing the use of your deployment resources.
