Why do I get this exception error when opening an automation: 222; 125 is not a valid value for Int32?

Updated on February 13, 2017

When opening an automation you receive the following exception error:

222; 125 is not a valid value for Int32

This error can occur if the automation is being opened on a computer using a different List separator than used on the computer where the automation was created or last modified. This most often happens when opening an automation in a country other than where it was created. To open the automation without error, change the List separator value:

  1. From the Control Panel, select the Region and Language option.
  2. On the Formats tab, click the Additional settings button.
  3. In the List separator field, enter a comma (,) or semicolon (;).
  4. Click Ok.
