Adding Off Computer Reason Codes

You can add an Off Computer Reason Code that is not covered by the default codes. For example, some organizations add a code for tasks such as check handling.

  1. In the header of Pega Workforce Intelligence, click AdministrationOff Computer Code.
  2. On the Off Computer Code Management page, click New.
  3. Define the code using these fields:
    FieldDescription
    Off Computer ReasonYou can enter up to 150 alphanumeric characters. The reason must be unique. Associates select these reasons on the Off Computer Time window.
    StatusThe status can be either Active or Inactive.If you choose Inactive, the reason does not appear on the list the associate chooses from.
  4. Click Save to save the new code or Cancel to discard it.
Result: Workforce Intelligence adds the code to the end of the list and assigns it the next available rank. You can modify the rank if necessary.
