Adding workflow tags

Updated on May 5, 2021

You can identify the starting and ending screens and applications of a specific workflow.

Note: A workflow can consist of as few as two steps, and as many as two thousand can be shown in the user interface.
  1. In the header of Pega Workforce Intelligence, click AdministrationWorkflow Tags.
  2. On the Workflow Tags page, click Add tag.
  3. On the Tag Configuration page, assign a meaningful name to the workflow tag.
Note: The name that you assign is also the name of the workflow when the workflow is first detected. After the workflow is detected, the workflow name and workflow tag name are separate entities. For example, if you update the workflow name later, the workflow tag name is not affected.
  4. Under Sequence, specify the minimum and maximum amount of time for the completion of the workflow. For example, to capture workflows that take at least five seconds to complete but not more than three hours, you would make the following entries:
    Example of workflow tag entries
Note: The default for Lower Bounds is 10 seconds with a maximum value of 999 seconds allowed. The default for Upper Bounds is 10 minutes with a maximum value of 600 minutes allowed.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Use the AdministrationApplication option or the AdministrationScreenoption from the top menu to identify the starting and stopping applications and screens.
